Our 20 Day Ease into Meditation Journey begins today.
Much of what is important to the simple practice I would like to share with you is in this “why, what, and how” post. If you missed it, you might stop back there first.
Before our first day video, I would like to touch on the topic of hands. People often wonder what to do with their hands when they begin a meditation practice. I put one hand on top of the other, palms up in a gesture of receiving. For whatever reason, this does make me feel open and ready to receive. I alternately put my hands, palms up, on or next to my thighs depending on how I am sitting. Some people put a pillow in their lap to support their arms. I encourage you to experiment to find out what feels most comfortable for you. There is plenty of time.
